I had so much fun coming up with a design for Winner Vox! I wanted to make his wings huge to represent the gargantuan effort it would take someone like him to redeem himself ^_^

And then I remembered they both had biomechanical friends & this scenario came to mind. A little comment on a design choice: Vox's wings are pretty big relative to Pen's. That's bc it would take a gargantuan effort for someone like Vox to overcome his flaws and redeem himself 🩵

Pentious says this knowing first hand how cruel & selfish Vox can be & yet he includes him in his appeal to Sera. I find Pen's open heart very moving & imagined that if Vox ever made it to Heaven, Pen would welcome him despite how Vox had treated him & others ⤵️

After Vox breaks the barrier and gives Heaven their ultimatum, Pentious goes to Sera and sings "Live to Live." In the lyrics, he says "humans are afraid, all of us all the time" and though he could just refer to the people Vox has lied to, he doesn't exclude Vox ⤵️
