It’s by design. Economically driven but short term gains.

Willful ignorance. Must be heartbreaking for the researchers who have proven the risks, they are being ignored.

To us it’s odd but to Govts ignoring the science is convenient. Back to normal etc. the damage this coverup will do is doing to so many is horrendous. I know someone who has had it 12 times!

“Just stay home” is not a public health strategy.

Non disabled people were livid during stay at home orders. They found the idea of being forced to stay home unpalatable, yet they’re only too happy to demand the disabled do it for the rest of our lives.

Clean air & masking make spaces accessible.

When I was ill, some friends disappeared - here's what I'd like to tell them As she publishes a new book on disability, journalist Frances Ryan shares how illness affects our friendships, and can ultimately bring us closer

In Who Wants Normal?, I loved chatting to Jameela Jamil, Rosie Jones, Nikki
Fox and more about dating and friendships.

I wrote for @theipaper.com
about one hidden aspect: how friends can go quiet if we’re going through health problems (and what might help). inews.co.uk/inews-lifest...

I had shingles twice in 3 years and wasn’t considered eligible under PBS. They should include folk that are susceptible also.

Reducing the risk of long COVID - Healthed

New: A summary of a series of podcasts on #longCOVID. Includes comments from me. It’s important to stress that although primary disease severity is a risk factor for LC, bc of the sheer numbers involved, most people with LC only had a mild initial illness.

This article is basically what my Dr Said. I should have said "Can be age related" despite younger folk getting it. I have had both shoulders frozen also, for me, hormone change does weird things. Shoes can help, lots of support, recommended a "Boot". It's very painful. All the best

Bike riding helps, anti inflammatories, and calf lifts as per physio. The longer you walk the worse it will get and will take longer to heal. See a physio if possible to get advice on Calf lift safety. Sorry it’s age related and yes from lack of strength in calves :( very frustrating.

This #LongCovidAwarenessDay I’m reflecting on how many people have been let down by governments, public health & medical establishments

How Covid has been downplayed, airborne spread ignored & vaxx and relax strategies pushed for the sake of capitalism

How many have Long Covid because of this? 🧵

This is one of the best articles I’ve seen on the effects of King Covid. There's no need for us to prove our illness is real anymore. Its all about the money :( cheaper and easier to ignore us. Thank you for this, such bravery from those willing to speak up.

Not even when being treated for cancer. We have gone backwards. Masks optional not worn to protect even the most vulnerable.
