Felt like a change.
When you are on a trail with a sign that tells you how many people have died on it to date with easy changeable numbers, probably be extra cautious.

The water is from a natural hot springs that would not normally exist on the surface. It is a great place to soak and was slightly warmer this time, probably about 105. The water has to be pumped into the pools and is on a solar pump, so the only fill during the day.

Most of my adventures are in AZ, UT, CO or NM. I mostly go places for some kind of adventure reason like climbing or biking and then work backwards figuring out what is along the way. An app called The Dyrt is good for free places to camp. GAIA mapping is also a great resource.
Sure. I travel a lot in a van. I do have a real house too. I’m currently in my van in Chiricahua National Monument on my way to a bike riding event in Sierra Vista.
All my synapses are firing for the first time in a while. I feel whole again.

The White Rim is a favorite. Done it twice. Once in an FJ and once on a bike. Been out to at least the Airport Camp several more times.

Heading to the Gila for a few days next week.
Nice halo
I was a RN in Chinle for 5 years. Just went back for the first time in years last week.
I’ve taken photos of all those places. Two very similar ones from Sat/Sun.
