Under a blue sky, a wave of a mountain ridge extends northward from the limestone summit rocks in the foreground. Scattered for and spice forest mingle with groves of oak and aspen forest, and the craggy ridge is surrounded by deep desert valleys of tan grass. A closer look reveals the farmlands of the Rio Grande Rift and some far off sky island mountain ranges far in the distance.

Spring time in the mountains, after the snow, and before the oaks turn green.
