Former Home of Russian-born Nicolai Fechin in Taos Houses Glimpse into the Soul of an Artist and an Era The current exhibition at Taos Art Museum at Fechin House, "Nicolai Fechin: Figures, Nature, and Expression," showcases the namesake creator’s remarkable versatility.

An exhibition at #Taos Art Museum at Fechin House, "Nicolai Fechin: Figures, Nature, and Expression," showcases the namesake creator’s versatility. Known more for his portraits than landscape paintings, both reflect his ethos of showing things as they are, not as an #artist might want them to be.

Screenshot of Weather Underground forecast for Taos New Mexico, for mid 80s in MARCH!

This is terrifying. This is the weather forecast for #taos #newmexico… not in May or June, but March - next week. I just read too that #skisantafe is closing now, way early. #taosskivalley can’t be far behind. There’s been no snow and zero in the forecast. Policies have decimated tourism, now this.

Taos Pueblo
Taos, New Mexico

You arrive where time still holds its place.
The walls speak only through what remains.
History meets you in the open air, steady and unhurried.
You leave carrying the quiet of what endures.
