In 2024, as @greenparty.org.uk co-leader and newly elected MP I pushed for rent controls to be included in the Renters’ Rights Bill, but Labour wouldn’t listen.

This Saturday, I’ll join thousands of tenants, and 50+ unions and grassroots groups, to demand rent controls now.

Why Fish Disco?

The ‘Fish disco’ is the mocking nickname given to an acoustic fish deterrent at a nuclear plant.

It’s used by corporate lobbyists to justify removing environmental protections so we are reclaiming it!
