Here is a Mini Skein Set inspired by River Has Roots by Amal El-Mohtar!
I listened to the audiobook whilst dyeing the colourways and it was beautifully and lyrically haunting. I highly recommend listening, especially if you are a fan of faeries and poetic prose!

Move slow and fix things
A pile of pink and purple cotton yarn, a yellow and silver crochet hook, a light blue needle tin with yellow flowers on it, a circular plastic divided container with one compartment open, and a long plastic blue box with clear lid
Now working on some more requested animal keychains from the tiny design directors.

A pair of knit socks with long ribbed legs and plain stockinette feet in self-striping bright rainbow yarn with stripes of pink, gold, yellow, green, blue, and purple.
Oh, how could I forget these? They are one pair of the socks I was doing 4 at a time. I forgot to take a picture of them before I gave them to the girls, and the little one immediately put hers on (and kept them on for two days straight, haha), so you just have to imagine them with a smaller pair
28 crocheted rectangles and one knit rectangle arranged in 5 rows of 5 and one row of 4 at the bottom. They each have a different stitch pattern and are in purple variegated, white, gray, blue and gray variegated, and red yarns with each color mainly arranged in diagonals from top left to bottom right.
A pair of knit socks in self striping yarn with shades of pink and red with smaller black stripes disbursed throughout.
A massive haul of rectangles and a single pair of socks for this week's #FOFriday.

lined up on a diagonal are 6 long skeins of brightly coloured yarn with oranges yellows greens and pinky purples.
The yarn has arrived back after Eastercon and i'm still recovering myself. However we've got a few of these special gradient self striping skeins left...
So along with a few other new colourways and fun things dyed before Eastercon there will be a mini shop update next week wednesday.
These are so freaking cute.
A short strip of textured knitting in a gray yarn on a circular needle laying on a rectangle of cardboard on a bed.
A thin strip of crochet in gray and white yarn with a brown and silver crochet hook next to the ball of yarn on a blue comforter
A rectangular chunk of Tunisian crochet in variegated yarn in shades of purple, green, and white on a blue comforter.
A pair of sock toes with stripes of blue, purple, and white on a single circular needle next to the ball of yarn on a purple flower-shaped yarn holder on a table.
This WIP Wednesday I’ve got two full blankets, a blanket square, and a pair of socks:

Speaking of Threads, this one got me in the feels.
A pile of crocheted rectangles in a black plastic box, each in a single color of yarn including white, gray, red, and blue yarn, next to the foot of a bed with a mesh laundry bag full of other similar crocheted rectangles on top of the bed above it.
Love that I've left myself this pile of ends to weave in from the whole week. Will not learn my lesson and weave in ends as I go because that's the boring part of any project.

Hi friends, I know things are tight for everyone rn and this is yet another fundraiser, but our school is both amazing and raising funds right now so that we can keep doing fun things - if you enjoyed my post about Bike Week, that’s the kind of thing your donation would go toward 🥰
Some space history book suggestions for all you new space nerds
Carrying the Fire - Michael Collins

Apollo 13 - Jim Lovell
The Right Stuff - Tom Wolfe
A curvy rectangle shape colored in a multi colored gradient and with a similar but contrasting coloring a related wormy pattern throughout. The whole shape has been cut through with thin mono weight lines that cut it into letter shapes sort of in the style of a 60s rock poster. Highlights have been applied to the letter shaped to give them some dimension. They spell out ‘Maybe it will happen today’.

Question: taking suggestions for “Roads to God/Goddess Through SFF” reading list. Pratchett, Bujold, @diane.dianeduane.com, @tkingfisher.com, Andrew Greeley, Octavia Butler, @nnedi.bsky.social, P. Djeli Clark, who else should be on the list? And what particular works would you pick?

I think this is my only finish this week for #FOFriday. Not really sure because despite not having all that much to do, this week was basically a blur. But this is the Opalescence Babydoll Top by DarkBlossomCrochet on Ribblr in Silky Soft by Loops and Threads.

have long argued there needs to be playgrounds in parks that are big enough for adults to use
Too many people in the U.S. think they might be rich one day and they simply will not.
