Callyope feels more haunted by what she remembers. The memories of carnage and suffering keep her up and night if she doesn't have a distraction. She can't feel haunted by what she doesn't know. What she knows is more than enough to revolt her.

Always nausea, always a distinct churning in her gut and a viscous swirl of a pounding headache. When Callyope feels the Urge she always feels sick, and feels sicker the more she tries to resist it. She killed simply to make the sickness stop.

Sand. Callyope perceived the grittiness of sand, and a distinct emptiness atop her head. Her hat was by the bank of the river, and her violin was clutched in her hand. She had no thought of the Urge, only the symbols of the identity she cultivated for herself.

Her draconic powers coming out coincided with her deciding to no longer worship Mystra, so it was a full switch. It was symbolic of her unleashing her full potential herself, not relying on Mystra or some other higher power to realize her own.

It was in her blood all along. Her family consists of spellfire sorcerers, and the red dragon was a really distant ancestor. The draconic side was repressed even more when she became a cleric of Mystra and she had that more direct divine connection to the Weave.

From there, she got her education on the road with them. She learned how to sing, play the violin, and learned how to use swords for performance and not just violence. It was a good deal for her Dark Urge too, because she became the troupe's protector and fought off bandits.

Pure chance. She was out killing when a traveling bard troupe spotted her. They thought she was lost and asked if she was a swords bard, and she lied and said yes to cover her tracks. A meal at a tavern and a long rest later, they said they needed a swords bard and asked her to join their troupe.

Mystra was no longer her goddess officially. Isys' family were spellfire sorcerers, but there was a latent draconic ancestry in there. Once she was no longer a cleric, almost instantly, she was able to tap into that red dragon ancestry. It was brewing under the surface, and now it was unleashed.

Isys became a cleric of Mystra because she wasn't naturally gifted in magic like everyone else around her. Over the course of the adventure though, things happened that turned her away from Mystra. The final straw was in Stormshore when Mystra essentially threatened Gale. That's when she decided-

For Shyntarra and Zylv, clothing is about camoflauge and blending into their native environment. You can imagine their surprise when they got abducted by the nautiloid and ended up in that bright ass forest 😅
