Well this quote captures the moment: "The point is, Trump is so unfit to serve as commander in chief that they're not even letting him in the [Situation] Room at the most sensitive moments because they know he's nuts."

Whichever one ensures that Trump gets a fair trial and a long prison sentence soon, which right now appears to be Old Maga. Whatever does the job.
This is a comic of the Oracle of Delphi telling Donald Trump "If you attack Iran, a great civilization will die, never to be brought back again."
"Myanmar’s president-elect, Min Aung Hlaing, is facing a third prosecution for the 2017 alleged genocide of the Rohingya after a case was filed by a group of civil society organizations earlier this week in Indonesia, under new laws that allow for universal jurisdiction."
Asian Lawyers Network has released a joint statement calling for the release of arbitrarily detained human rights lawyer Yu Wensheng.

HRN has released a statement condemning Israel's attacks in Lebanon, including the April 8 strikes killing 250+ people, and calling on Israel to immediately end its attacks, withdraw its forces, allow displaced people safe return, and ensure accountability. #Lebanon
In the Epstein files you can read the email discussion FBI agents have about her. (I don't want to link them bc they reveal too much.) So they know about her. Like a lot of other victims that feel threatened, they're respecting the victims' choice to stay obscure & not go forward pressing charges.
Her name is not redacted in the public affidavit, and it's Maria.

A journalist found her and wrote about her story here, leaving out identifying details. It says she's trying to stay in hiding bc of the threats. www.justice-integrity.org/1445-welcome...
It's important to know that this case, the plaintiff and the witnesses, was vetted by a private investigator, Ed Opperman, and he still stands by his conclusion that her case was real to this day. He talks about it in this podcast episode (listen from 26:35 & 43:18) www.patreon.com/posts/960288...
Fire line from Anand Giridharadas in the Daily Beast podcast today: "Donald Trump is killing Iranian schoolgirls to silence American schoolgirls."

Human Rights Now has released a statement calling for the government of Israel to immediately repeal its death penalty law against Palestinians.
Trump is purging our military leadership so that he can commit atrocities.
I can not make this any simpler.
I wish this were authentic, then it'd be like one of those cries from the void. At this point I could believe anything can happen.
If Hegseth was hoping to create an impression of a stability, respect, authority, reason, and confidence, then somebody let him know that a military purge is creating the opposite impression for all of those things.
I forgot when it was. I mean I remember the season but not which one, since I was just joining my friend who was binging them on DVD & I didn't really pay attention to the season number on the DVD cases. So I googled it really quickly and that's the episode that popped up.
["24" spoiler alert] There was an episode of 24 (S5.E24) where the president was found to have organized the terrorist event for that season in the end, and the FBI came and arrested him, and now we know that that couldn't have really happened, because if it could, it would have for Trump already.
Reminds me of that time the markets reacted to his tariffs in real time, prompting this video which has become the defining image I have of everything this guy does now.
I could believe it at the time with the number of pickup trucks driving in my neighborhood with giant Trump and Confederate flags flying off the back. It felt like they'd been chomping at the bit to do that for a long time. They seem conveniently quiet & apolitical these days though. 😒
Good, except it's frototemporal dementia (disinhibitory) not Alzheimer's (inhibitory), which is worse.
Airwars is reporting 1,800 civilian casualties by US & Israeli strikes in Iran already in the first 3 weeks, which Wes Bryant from the shuttered civilian protection center is framing as part of an entire culture of illegality and rampant war crimes under Hegseth.

Interesting. It's the same reason China is working so hard to control Myanmar, which has kept it in civil war for a long time, to build the rail and road links from Kunming down to Kyaukphyu, so they have a land route around the Malacca strait which can also be closed & shut their access westward.
Evidently they think that a $19B payout to Iran for nothing in return is peanuts compared to Biden returning $1.7B of Iran's own money in return for commitments to limit the enrichment of the nuclear stocks & guarantee full access to inspector to verify it.
He thinks he can do what Saddam Hussein couldn't in 8 years of war and break Iran with rampant war crimes. Which American president deserves to be compared to Hussein now?
I noticed that in the interviews w/people upset by the long airport lines bc of the TSA funding hold. Of course they're frustrated, but the common response was that congress members need to drop their little dispute. They don't recognize that our democracy is under full attack & hanging by a thread.
I was listening to some Shawn Lane and didn't even realize it's his birthday today. Here's to you Shawn. Wish you were still around playing.

...so I deleted the meme. There are ways she could have worded this meme to make her point better, but she didn't word it the right way and opened it to your criticism. The wiki page was saying the fraud rate is like 0.000003 chance per vote, but that's still a few 100 over time, even if low level.
...were for state elections. So I think it may depend on what the creator meant by "certain", if it's just a credible case (certainly 100s) or if it's an actual fraud conviction & prison sentence (may be close).
All that said, I agree with your general take the fair number is still surely higher...
100s of claims, most civil charges, most state elections, only a handful fraud convictions: e.g., for Florida "Since the 1970s, fewer than 40 people have been convicted of casting an illegal vote, and only two have been sentenced to prison." www.tampabay.com/archive/2004... & I think even these...
