This is an important problem, worth solving. All institutions, including #universities, should help pay for the #OpenSource tools they use.
We're hiring! We have 2 jobs advertised: Library Engagement Lead and Operations Manager, deadline Tues 6 January 2026. Links:

Thanks, David - it was great you could join us to discuss our future plans. We value your encouragement and the Board’s support as we work to strengthen #DOAJ for the OA community.
Big News!
The Journal of Trial and Error is officially listed on the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ)! 🎉

After years of hard work, our mission is now even more accessible to researchers worldwide.

Love this, and wish more funders would create similar funding streams! So many innovative new tools that attract funding are built upon core infrastructures that struggle to find funding for their “boring” operations.
