If the ceiling has collapsed due to storm water entering the ceiling cavity it may be covered by home insurance
This is not a cosmetic issue — it’s a structural failure of that ceiling section, sometimes caused by rusted or failed screws/clips and/or poor original installation (not enough fixings or glue)
