i’ve had extremely difficult days, don’t get me wrong, but the fact that i have been able to resist urges that i have familiarized myself with over decades, and that have become second nature trauma responses, is so important to me and i am so proud of myself!

now…to fix my sleep schedule 😭

i don’t want to overshare (for my own sake; i deserve privacy around details) but in all honesty i have had a life long battle with self injury and unless i’m mistaken i’ve gone this whole year without doing any of that!!

life is a rollercoaster and things will continue to get bad and then get good again and then bad again and then better but right now i really want to celebrate the fact that despite how hard things are presently i have been choosing to *not* punish myself for it. that has been the hardest part.
