Thanks - I have printed these off. Excellent list. A BIG THANKS
NZ Govt has taken a huge bet on fossil fuels. NZ was already spending $8 billion a year importing fossil fuels, and now the global fuel crisis is going to make that worse. Betting on fossil fuels has turned out to be a losing bet for NZ. This is the 14 point policy record of 2 years of the NZ Govt:
The insurance companies are more aligned with the Greens view of climate change, adaptation, and the locked in effects than the current Government of New Zealand.
New Australia Institute research shows that the Japanese Government makes more revenue taxing Australian gas than the Australian Government!
"They're taxing our gas. There's no reason we can't."

The UK is looking at delinking gas and electricity prices, to cut consumers’ bills in response to the fossil fuel energy shock caused by Trump’s attack on Iran.
NZ could do this too.
Ukraine and the Netherlands signed a long-term defense cooperation agreement. The deal includes joint production of K4 DeepStrike and Baton strike drones to boost defense industry capabilities. #Ukraine
Ukraine context says Lukashenko will be gently warned about the consequences if he tries to pull Belarus into Russia’s war against Ukraine again.
Sweden’s King Carl XVI Gustaf has visited Ukraine for the first time since the full-scale war, meeting President Volodymyr Zelensky in Lviv. The visit marked his first trip to Ukraine in 18 years, accompanied by a senior delegation. #Ukraine
I'd support this, who wouldn't?

Don't ever trust Barnaby. You are correct re Marles - he is responsible for so much of Australia's foreign interest woes. Not liked in his own party (but feared).
No government since at least 1987 has passed 30 or more laws without a select committee vet – until the coalition last month.

Netanyahu has removed 40 thousand homes in Lebanon in less than a month . This war criminal needs to be brought to final Justice.
So NZ PM Chris Luxon promised Sean Plunket he "had his back" and would protect Platform from the BSA. Now TP is under BSA remit, Goldsmith moves to scrap BSA. This is absolutely fucked up Trumpian politics
Literally devastating news
And almost certainly even worse because the models don't include the effects of huge volumes of Greenland meltwater pouring into the North Atlantic at a rate of 30 million tonnes AN HOUR

Disney's new CEO, whose pay package is worth nearly $45M, just announced 1,000 layoffs.
Reminder that Disney paid an effective federal income tax rate of ZERO in 2025 and aims to buy back $7B of its own stock in 2026.
This is what corporate greed looks like.
I don’t understand how this is not just a no brainer.
Tax the rich could not be a simpler!
The only reason Labour is not doing this is because:
LABOUR IS ALSO CAPTURED BY RICH DONORS!!!
Fuck Labour!
VOTE GREEN!!!!

Glad to see the Australian government on board. Massive milestone today with Bowen acknowledging EV growth is already offsetting the oil crisis. Increasing reserves while demand falls makes no sense.
Now for a solar carport mandate!
Charge baby charge. ☀️⚡ #Bettrification #EVs
Luxo and co suffer Stockholm syndrome. Their deliberate kneecapping of energy options for NZ , other than dirty cars and oil and gas is 'all the way USA.' NZ's Coalition leaders serve foreign interests, not those of NZ. NZ resources are merely a commodity or tool to further their personal interests.
“The idea that unless we export even more, that they might do harm to us is an insult and an outrage and it shows how little Australia has got out of this.” – Dr Richard Denniss

Cor blimey, gosh. I wasn't aware of this one.
If you order from overseas, you will be now be charged a new government tax on shipments valued at $1,000 NZD or less. For imports, the levy will be $2.21 NZD per shipment, plus GST. For exports, $2.48 NZD per shipment, plus GST.
Always new taxes, always under stealth. #NZPOL 1/2
I interpreted is as ' the Govt stuff it up, the Govt needs to fix it.'
So the 'middling' parties fall away as our polarised selves follow the new polarised parties. Alas - it still results in the roughly 50/50 bitter battle. I often dream that one lot could live in one place among their fellows and the other half could choose to live far away amongst theirs.
Blimey. Sky News reporting YouGov / Sky News / Times voting intention
*Greens leapfrog Labour into second place*
RefUK 23% (-1)
GRN 21% (+4)
LAB 16%(-2)
CON 16%(-2)
LDEM 14%(nc),
Pollster note: This is the highest we've had the Greens, the first time we've had them in second
I searched for this fast track approval - less than a month ago.
Any journalists care to ask Luxon about the stupidity of building on a floodplain ?
