If I have a broom and access to snacks (which I typically keep in my pocketbook) almost anything. Dropping treats outside from a window to land by the door (especially smelly ones, like tuna (which hopefully I randomly have a can of) would cause most animals to leave. This also works for toddlers..

My A1c is great. With my pump and sensor I can balance things so I can work. Without them though, it's hard to function. Losing the devices that keep me alive due to production error, technology failure, or law changes are a constant concern.

This is living with a disability. A simple factory error can potentially kill you or alter your abilities to survive as you typically proceed. And yes diabetes is common, but no two type ones are identical. I am what used to be called brittle. My sugar bounces low and high multiple times a day.

map out exactly how long the supplies I have will keep me alive. I will not be getting more sets. I will be using up my stock and hoping that before I run out the production issues will be solved. Now to figure out what to do about my business for when I run out if replacement isn't available.

I just reorganized and counted my insulin pump supplies. The supplies that make it so I can safely walk, drive, and fully function as my typical day demands.

I gave up on jeans mostly. I wear flowy skirts or sweatpants (some that are disguised to look like nice trousers). I miss when my friends castoffs to me were jncos though.
