The “problem” with vaccines? They so effective at preventing deaths that they create generations of people that question whether disease was a problem in the first place because they have never experienced the horrors of a world without vaccines.

Pixie and Norma Jean. Yes they're beautiful but they're also both adjunct professors at the University of Vermont offering courses in escape artistry, treat snatching, and Advanced Trouble-Making. 🎓
My heart will never be the same. I’ve loved orcas for as long as I can remember. Yesterday I spent the day on a boat with two orca naturalists, on a special tour in the Salish Sea. We met up with the T123s (Stanley watched us watching him😍) and T100s together- it was breathtaking. ❤️

Five bunnies sit in a row facing a wall, observing a banana taped to it. The middle three bunnies wear small colored berets.
@vhannah.bsky.social 🥰 pigeons😍
Photo of the profile of a basset hound’s face looking out a window toward the left of the photo, shaking her head creating a blur of her ears and jowls. She is a red and white basset. She may have spotted a bunny in the yard. 😱
It’s been a minute, sky friends. I’ve been busy living in the moment, making art, spring gardening-being distracted by all things gardening & beach + friends time.
Sometimes it’s nice to not spend as much time on social media. Filtering. It creates peace.
Calliope, mid ear flap, head wubble:
Writer Roald Dahl's daughter dies of measles before the vaccine was available. In 1988, he wrote this essay.

I bet it feels amazing for the book when we flip through all the pages at once
Anyone associated in the medical and health sectors under this administration will be forever remembered as being unethical, immoral, dishonourable, horrific and vile practitioners. You’ve written your legacy. This is how you will go down in history.
There's lots to unpack from this EKOS slide but the one thing I want to highlight is the purple 25% of Conservative voters who would pick the fringe PPC as their second choice. This lines up with other information suggesting that one in four Conservatives are far right and/or MAGA fans. #cdnpoli
a light gold cockapoo pup walks toward the camera in a field of grass. behind her is a herd of similarly colored alpacas. it appears as if they are both curious and in awe as they follow the curly pup.
This is Nugget. She only met these new friends today, but they have already made her their leader. 13/10
A wooly goat, its eyes invisible, two simple horns curling back from its head
A ram in need of sheering, its eyes invisible, its horns curling beside its head.
It can often be difficult to tell Sheep (right) and Goats (left) apart, but to the trained eye there's an obvious difference:
While both commit Crimes, only Goats are aware that their actions are wrong, and are thus capable of Sin.
(condescendingly) Maybe learn something. Maybe read the wikipedia summary of a book sometime

"Ford is showing his Trumpian instincts - Once upon a time principled politicians would shrink from criticizing the judiciary + promoting their partisan views, but Premier Ford can’t help revealing his instincts aren’t that removed from the autocrat to the south."

Photo of an orange belted bumblebee covered in pollen, flying between pink rhododendron blooms.
This pink rhododendron in our yard is _noisy_ right now, full of busy buzzing pollinators doing their thing. 🐝❤️

Photo of my hand holding my new *sparkle pom pom earrings* made by a young girl for a school faire.
Photo of my hand holding a small bees wax candle in the shape of a beehive. My garden through the window behind is bright spring green.
Photo of my hand holding a beaded bracelet made by a child for a school faire. The letter bees spell “bumblebee” with the rest being black and yellow beads.
There was a “Maker Faire” at my 10yo’s school this morning. Kids made things to sell for anywhere from 25cents to $2.
Our purchases:
*Sparkle Pom Pom Earrings!* 🤩 yes I will wear these to the studio tomorrow. Also, some cute bee things.
It was all really well done. The kids are impressive makers.
Fascism is on the move. Trump boasts of "liberation" by trying to destroy the global economy. Today Canada and the Netherlands ponder what true liberation means. We need to remember the huge cost paid to free people from gangster regimes.

A quick garden update before I head to the studio for another day of felting making. The gorgeous coral rhododendron is blooming in the front yard and is blowing my mind🤩!
Calliope has taken to laying beneath the pear tree like the land seal she is. 🥰

We have a tiny two bedroom house on 1/3 acre in an older area of town. :) much more garden than house.
It is! I’ve been lucky enough to meet the designer of this garden. I feel so lucky to hear the story of its design first hand. A lots of love and heartfelt meaning created the garden.
He designed it as a Japanese walking garden, with a purposely arranged route.
The garden sold the house :)

A walk through the east side garden. Yes, I now refer to east and west garden sides because there is just so much to this thoughtfully planned property we bought last September.
The spring bloom has made every moving pain lighter. We found paradise.

There are many people, including children, that have been excluded from society because they are in a group that is known to be more at risk of serious outcomes from COVID-19.
Instead of providing safer places and people to interact with, they are mocked and excluded further.
You asked, I listened
As an act of civic journalism, I contacted the Privy Council Office and the Speaker of the House of Commons to clarify if Pierre Poilievre can still serve as Leader of the Opposition and if he can continue living in his public mansion
The official answers: No and no
In response to the election map of #Canada showing large areas voting Conservative blue, here's a graphic from reddit entitled "Land doesn't Vote, People Do". #Liberals are red.
