Cool! Thank you!

My favorite color! Is it a basic color word or related to something else?
And deserves them for guarding your phone so well!
Visited the Salt Creek pupfish in Death Valley the other day... #nps
Happy little fishies 🐟😍
So that's what you are doing with your day off!
Look at those tiny teeth! 💕
Missy, one white and gray cat is standing on a white and blue pillow and looking out the window in front of her with her head turned towards the right. To the right of her is a lego tuxedo cat, turned so that it appears it is looking out the window. Missy's nose is almost obscured by the lego cat. It vaguely looks like they are interacting, but no, Missy is carefully ignoring the lego cat. I find this very amusing.
The cats are looking out the window again...
Close up of a brown frog on a rock looking grumpy.
“So I gotta do this Monday thing, huh?”
(Wood Frog who obviously doesn’t know what a Monday is but he sure looks disgruntled) #herps 🌿

A Green Frog friend to celebrate #WorldFrogDay!

I love this trilogy!
Text reads Bat Feet - made for hanging out. Happy Baturday Logo WCS Canada Alberta Community Bat Program albertabats.ca Image of the back feet and tail of a Little Brown Myotis by Jason Headley/Myotis Lens Toes have tiny dark claws and a few long hairs on each toe.
Bat fact: Bat feet are rotated 180° compared to ours—and their tendons lock so they can hang upside down without using any energy. 🦇 #HappyBaturday!
THE WEE BABY TOESIES!
You are productively engaging in household and personal care.
What a beautiful sagwar(ü)
I love these books
I mean, frogs ARE heroes but the hashtag is supposed to be #herps 🤭
"crunchy water" is what my friends and family call carbonated water
Rebecca is great, but Roy Kent is still my fave.
Photo of a roosting Heart nose Bat (Cardioderma cor) by Nik Borrow from iNaturalist. Bat is alert and looking forwards at the camera showing off its "noseleaf" which is shaped like a heart. Found in eastern Sudan, north Tanzania, and south Zambia. They will listen for echolocation calls of smaller bat species and hunt them for supper!
Special for Valentines Day - Cardioderma cor, the Heart-nosed Bat from central Africa! Eater of insects & small mammals, these bats are monogamous. They also "sing" likely to advertise territory but also for social reasons. The only species in this genus! ❤️-👃🦇#HappyValentinesDay
One not quite happy white and gray cat, sitting like a loaf on the back of a dark green leather couch, with her head turned towards the camera, glaring at me. To the left of her face is a lego rose. She is ignoring it.
Happy Valentine's Day from Missy, who wishes I wouldn't take pictures of her.

A Moment of Zen to start your day:
Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Inst. (MBARI) documented an encounter with Stygiomedusa gigantea, the giant phantom jelly.
The Remote Operated Vehicle (ROV) named "Doc Ricketts" captured this video at a depth of 990 meters (3,200 feet) in Monterey Bay.
Hypnotic!
I'm GenX. We grew up in an all-print world. We read really fast. So, my Millennial and GenZ peeps, I beg you for the love of Bananarama, please just send me the article and not the TikTok of the dude talking about the article. In Prince's funky name, amen.
Apologies for the bad lighting. My house is dark this time of year.
Aside from half the dragons mentioned in the replies, my favorites include the following, found in a mall store in the early 80s...
Yes!!!
And thanks to Jo's column, I also read your book and then the other 3 in the same world (all bought from smashwords). Liked them! I think I liked Juno's book the best, but they were all fun. Thank you.
Missy, a white and gray cat, crouching on a pillow between a table and a large window. She is sort of sniffing the lego flowers. In the foreground on the table are a set of mariachi players. In the background outside, you can see the top of a quail sculpture.
Missy is not sure about the change in decor, but at least she has a pillow...
