I was briefed on the intelligence last week.

Iran posed no imminent threat of attack to the United States. Iran was not close to building a deliverable nuclear weapon. The negotiations Israel scuttled with their strikes held the potential for success.

You might be wondering why we haven't updated outbreak.info for months.

Well, the reason is that GISAID cut our access in January - as they did others. Without telling us.

After a ♾️ back and forth, that is now permanent.

More on that soon - and why GISAID should not be trusted with critical data.

If you want to know why young people continually feel left behind, it's because they are, on so many fronts. This chart from today's G&M shows how cuts in the federal service fell in the last year. www.theglobeandmail.com/business/art...

Good this study was done but assumes damage wld get addressed. We know many ppl (esp kids) just live w/ bad teeth, normalize discomfort, & the stigma of bad tooth smiles. Plus how many ppl (kids & adults) are thrilled to see a dentist (& have dental ins.)? My pt: many impacts are hard to quantify. 🛟

I appreciate the offers from other scientists to help Harvard (students, labs, etc) through this attack, but what would be most helpful is for you to use your position to contact your elected representatives and make it clear this fight isn't just Harvard, it will affect you, and their districts too
