Coalition spat deepens as Christopher Luxon fires back at Winston Peters

Coalition spat deepens as Christopher Luxon fires back at Winston Peters

Seriously, we're in the middle of multiple international crisis and domestic states of emergency and these cunts are busy stabbing each other in the back

You are not a functional government, so give it up and call a snap election so we can vote someone competent to power

Natalie Barr was just as disgraceful, insisting that Australians on the NDIS are “milking it”

We have a gas inquiry on, Barr conveniently ignoring the actual milking by the gas giants. Not a word on the billions we lose each year in resource revenue.

Bridget McKenzie, who resigned in disgrace over Sports Rorts, tells Sunrise that the NDIS will only survive if we “stop the rorting.”
Extraordinary hypocrisy. From the same party that left the NDIS without fraud protections for a decade. #auspol

But at the same time, Labor needs to be careful in how they fix the scheme.

The original intent of the NDIS is good, noble and the right thing to do. And getting back to that would be excellent.

I just hope they don’t make it painful along the way.

It’s appallingly galling for the Coalition to completely undo the intent of the NDIS, and allow a whole lot of entities - too many to prosecute individually - that don’t provide services, to receive funding through the program, and then launch an attack on the NDIS claiming “it’s too expensive”.

I can totally get behind the Albanese government removing the loopholes that the Coalition spent a decade putting in the NDIS, which sent funds to organisations, groups, who pretend they disability provided services but simply didn’t.

But don’t take payments away from eligible individuals. No way.

Liberals and Nationals to preference One Nation in blow to Michelle Milthorpe in Farrer byelection Independent candidate and One Nation’s David Farley are viewed as the frontrunners in the four cornered-contest for the 9 May poll

At some point within the next two election cycles the Coalition will consist of:

The Liberal Party.
The National Party.
The Liberal National Party.
The Country Liberal Party.
And One Nation.

They’re all the same.

Travis Lovett is killing it on the Walk For Truth.

Bringing people together, setting an example with Mob getting a chance to share truth during ceremonies and on the walk.

Bloody good stuff!

Get behind it, friends. It’s time for national truth telling.

When Sam Neil comes out against your government’s decision, you know you’ve fucked up.

I’d pack my bags in shame and never let myself be seen in public again if that happened to me.

SURELY Keir Starmer isn’t PM by the end of the week?

Surely?

I wonder if the Neo-Nazis will be wearing ‘Free Ben Roberts-Smith’ t-shirts when they boo the Welcome to Country at the ANCAZ Day dawn service this year.

Clint Smith: I guess that's because my household isn't a perpetual sovereign entity that can levy taxes and print its own currency.

In response to NZ TPU:
If you ran your household budget like the Government runs theirs, your bank would intervene, your family would panic, and your dog would probably start looking for a new owner

Sign at Westgarth station showing the next train in 42 minutes

Govt just announced more train services coming soon, fixing many of the 30-40 minute waits around the Metro network, as well as more services on the Shepparton line. There's more to do, but this is a great step in the right direction. More trains more often gets more people onto public transport 👍

You know who turns up, every single time we have yet another extreme climate event?

Not the government.

Māori.

Every single time.

And this govt just keeps kicking them in the teeth?

Nope. Enough. #OneTermGovernment #nzpol #NZ

Oh, I really don’t like the change that The Expanse show made around Admiral Souther. And the whole battle near Io in general.

That’s the first major issue I’ve had with the show.

Victorians scared to go to restaurants at night because of street gang violence: Peter Dutton "We just need to call it for what it is. Of course it's African gang violence."

I saw a grotty Liberal, Jess Wilson MP, repeating Dutton’s line about Melbournians being afraid to go out to dinner with a self-serving smile on her face today. It was racist and untrue the first time, Jess. Shame on you for summoning that to aid your cause. #auspol

Poll: National and PM nosedive to new lows, left bloc would gain power The results of the 1News Verian poll show that if an election were to be held today Labour and its partners would knock the coalition out of power.

Polls looking delightfully bad for the destructive and disastrous conservative coalition in Aotearoa New Zealand, and good for the progressive parties.

You love to see it.

And 2. The network is doing for political reasons, because they don’t like Labor, but in the process they’re doing damage to every day Victorians. Especially those whose businesses are missing out on customers because people have been lied to about the city.

Another regional person convinced, by 7News (they named the network) that Melbourne is a violent cesspit and nobody is safe.

This is shameful.

1. Because it’s false. Melbourne is vibrant, safe and beautiful, just like the people in it.
