Me panicking— checking calendar… Thanksgiving is in twoish weeks.

A couple of weeks ago when the weather was nice we were watching a game with all the windows open and we were 10 seconds ahead of the neighbors. I briefly felt like the superior being, then like a true midwesterner felt guilty about running their excitement so I only cheered at a whisper level.

A year and a half ago, my planned gold wine glass toast and tea from the Love is Blind LIVE reunion was a total shit show and technical disaster for Netflix. I vowed to never watch another live event after the frustration and let down. I guess in a way they helped me keep my vow?

Netflix is like the friend who is in charge of booze for the party that shows up with a six pack and is surprised it isn’t enough.
