it’s become more of an obsession over the time I have been teaching. Used to be fairly flexible interpretation, now it’s hyper fixation on the entire dress code, which is modelled on male corporate/power attire…introduced at 4/5 years old😢

Interesting reading, but might be useful to consider that ASN has a very broad & expansive definition, so nearly all children & yp will have an ASN at some point in their school life.Much also depends what kind of educational environment we want to create & who is seen to fit in those structures.
