There's been a chapel and pilgrims village in Restalrig since at least 12th century, and legends claim Saint Triduana settled here in 9th century making this little street deep in eastern Edinburgh suburb a truly ancient place.

Very good. A combination of a mild cheese flavour through the dough and also melty chunks within. A bit lighter and buttery-er than a traditional Hot-X bun, but thoroughly nice with jam. Only criticism was quite thin so hard to slice, but maybe mine got squished in my pannier
