Big news! ARB's first fundraiser is officially live! We're shooting for the very modest goal of $1k, with lots of stretch goals in mind. Your support is of course appreciated, and any help in spreading the word would be wonderful!

Thank you so much for publishing my review of this anthology, @ancillaryreviewofbooks.org. I really loved this collection: so many great horror writers from around the world! #booksky #writersky @twolinespress.com
"Again and again, I Was Alive Here Once brings fresh life to the idea of what a ghost can be — and offers readers new ways to interpret the great beyond." 👻
"Beautifully varied and intriguing in their unique approaches to the porous border between the real and the fantastic, the stories in I Was Alive Here Once are all highly recommended." 👻
I WAS ALIVE HERE ONCE "abounds with tales of the unquiet dead, written by authors from a trio of continents." 👻
"By juxtaposing ghostly tales from a wide variety of literary styles and traditions, the concept of ghost itself becomes fluid, but never trapped."
Well, @twolinespress.com just hits it out of the park with the #SFinTranslation. One excellent anthology after another. ♥️📚🌍

She will receive mentorship from acclaimed translator Nguyễn An Lý – who will support her in translating her first full-length work of fiction – and a four-week retreat in the French Pyrenees. Congratulations, Ally!
As this year’s prizewinner, Ally will translate Maik Cây’s Bảo Tàng Lông [Museum of Hair], to be published by Peirene Press (UK) and Two Lines Press (US) in 2027.
And thank you to all the talented folks who applied—we had 67 submissions this year, and judges Nguyễn An Lý, Vi Khi Nao, and Deborah Smith were impressed by the range of approaches to what was a challenging excerpt.
We’re pleased to announce that Ally Le is the winner of the 2026 Stevns Translation Prize! Congratulations to Ally and finalists Lukas Tuyet Tung, Nguyễn Thị Bích Trâm, and Chau Anh Nguyen.
Urszula Honek’s collection of dark stories, WHITE NIGHTS, translated from the Polish by Kate Webster & longlisted for the Intl Booker Prize, are quietly piercing – & now available to US readers from @twolinespress.com. Here’s my review in ASYMPTOTE.
