A cassette case showing the 'Cavum' sleeve, and the O-card slipcase showing the 'Of Salt And Sea' sleeve, of both albums by the post rock band Pillars.
Some excellent post rock for #cassunday This brilliant double play cassette from Pillars features two albums on one tape, 'Cavum' on one side, and 'Of Salt And Sea' on the other. Released on @pastinside.bsky.social and if you are in the UK available at @normanrecords.com for just £5.99. Result!
Feel absolutely sick after that. It's the 90min+ goals that we've conceded that'll send us down.
I've never known a team have such bad luck in so many ways over the course of a season. How they pick themselves up from this I don't know. If they do escape it'll be heroic for sure #COYS
It's right there in the words: Capitalism, the philosophy of capital first; Socialism, the philosophy of society aka people first
Ethel Cain - Inbred EP Record Store Day copy on vinyl in protective sleeve.
Nice one! Just one on my want list this year and happily @ravesfromthegrave.bsky.social still had a copy when I dropped in today. Very slight seam split, so a bit cheaper than expected but very happy to get one of these. Just about to get its first spin.
CD sleeves of two Mary-Anne Hobbs compilations
The inner sleeve of one of the CDs showing 3 attached stickers or photos, plus the back sleeve of another CD with it's attached sticker or photo. Shocking behaviour.
Found these two great electro compilations on @planetmurecords.bsky.social in a charity shop this week. Weirdly both have these odd glossy stickers / photos attached to the sleeves. No way they can be taken off safely. Why would anyone do that? Previous owner clearly a psychopath 🤣 #CDFriday
Lovely haul. I'm lucky enough to still find some good stuff, often in Frome. Best ever was on holiday once when I found around 20 CDs in one shop including a load of Pavement deluxe editions, and all Nick Drake albums. All in perfect condition. Was a load of good stuff I already had there too 💿
Very nice. All we need now is a reissue of this live tape. Pretty please 🙏

Fantastic win for the Lionesses. Spain probably deserved a draw on balance of play, but England were so well organised and resolute at the back. Need to back that up against Iceland on Saturday. Excellent stuff! #Lionesses #EnglandWomen
I wonder if Spence could be retained? He was a big part of the Forest squad that won promotion. Would be good to have a leading player in the squad who has been there and done it before.
Love the fact that Archie Gray's position is listed as 'everywhere' and that you think he'll stay 🙏
As a teacher the banter will be brutal. Already is. Especially as I banged on about the Europa league win last May / June / Forever. However, it's the lack of faith in the board to equip us for an immediate return. If we don't bounce straight back up then it could take years (e.g. Leeds 04-20). Gulp
Sadly, that's exactly what I thought when I saw the pictures too.
Woke up feeling the Spurs doom, but then remembered that Orban had his arse handed to him so have a spring in my step. Nothing beats the feeling of a fascist getting disposed. Have a good day everyone.

This is the 1992 silver vinyl reissue. Their best album?

For the first time in ages, I'm not. Can't work out whether it's my disdain for the new manager and the detachment that has caused, or I'm already going through the acceptance stage and think we're done. Obviously still desperately hoping we win and stay up, but just not really feeling it today.
The Jimmy Carr roadblock almost stopped us from watching the first series but glad we did. Series two is great as well. And yes, Sweep would destroy them. Series three perhaps?
I missed this off my list. A band I love and as usual I always think of a great record worthy of a top 5 place after posting 🙄

The first halftribe album I ever heard and still my favourite 💛
I couldn't watch either. Just following online. But always felt that we could do it. Been mightily impressed with how calm the squad are, both when behind and closing out matches. Semi final will be tough whoever we face but I wouldn't bet against Bath atm. At least our rugby team is superb!

Wow! Bath never give up! 14-35 behind at one point. That is a stunning result. Fair play to Saints. They could still be Prem champions this year. What a match. And Bath in a Champions Cup semi for the first time in an age. #AllezBath
Thanks Richard. Here's mine:

An incredible article on De Zerbi, his non-apology "apology," and the continuing spectre of male violence and its response. Well done to @chrispaouros.bsky.social.

Your frequent reminder that Farage wants to frack the UK - in multiple ways - and that doing so won’t make a blind bit of difference to energy bills
It would, however, make us more dependent on volatile fossil fuels, make the climate crisis worse & industrialise the countryside

I long for the day that Netanyahu is held accountable for the war crimes he and his enablers have been committing in Gaza, and now Lebanon. An evil, fascist and blood thirsty stain on the 21st century. History will not forget.

A trip to Cerne Abbas & the Nine Stones at Winterbourne, plus a stop off at St Mary's Church in Batcombe, where the squire and his horse once knocked a pinnacle on the tower off centre as his horse jumped over the tower as he raced home to cover up his conjuring. A beautiful day out in the 🌞
Pretty much feels like a real chance missed to finally beat Chelsea. However, lots of positives today:
- Best team in 2nd half
- Ella back
- They needed a wonder strike to beat us
- Koga superb against Kerr
- Fans superb and very noisy
- Quality bench showed strength in depth
