Here’s a demonstration of Pythagoras’ Theorem for #WeekPforPurple of Sheena’s #AlphabetChallenge.

For the uninitiated, it states that “the square on the hypotenuse of any right-angled triangle is equal to the sum of the squares on the other two sides”.

By far my most photographed building, Cambusnethan Priory was designed by James Gillespie Graham and completed in 1820. This photo was taken 200 years later. A fire in the early 1980s has led to its current regrettable derelict state.
