A concrete sidewalk leads up to the office door. Office hours are posted in Spanish first, then English. A large sign on the door has instructions for mail and deliveries.

A fine old Aesthetic Movement-style wooden fence and gate outside a San Francisco residence of like age. The style echoes East Asian design motifs. Historically, neither fence nor house were painted white, but in earthy, naturalistic hues with subtle bright trim.

Driftwood remains of a large tree rest on large gray boulders on a sandy shore. The twisted, craggy roots are attached to a substantial length of the trunk. The blue-green sea beyond is calm under a cloudy sky with colors varying from white to dark blue to deep gray.
