Yarn and a stitch marker made from a different yarn. The bars on our balcony look like prison bars
Looks like I’m in knitting prison, but I’m on holiday. Phew! Forgot my stitch markers so I’ve made one out of yarn. 🧶

View from my hotel room looking to the ocean - there are three trees and a sunset bar made of wood, which has comfy chairs aplenty with soft, thick cushions. The sky is cerulean blue and the sea a soft azure
There are an awful lot of Kindles around the pools on this holiday, which is most frustrating for a nosy parker like me who wants to see what everyone is reading this year.
Yes! This! I don’t know whether the BBC is setting out to annoy Lisa Nandy or she’s setting out to annoy the BBC

Going to see The Unfriend this evening in Chorley - it comes highly recommended by my sister who saw it in Kenilworth.
I started Glorious Exploits too, and didn’t get into it. Need to try again
I’ve got Daffodil Days on reserve at the library but there is quite a bit of a queue so I’m having to be patient. Heard good things about Helm and I do love Sarah Hall.

I like Patsy too. I like the way she says she leads a bit of a hermit life with her cat. I get that.
Wow. I had no idea! I don’t really understand how Substack works and I’ve never subscribed to anyone’s newsletter on there. But I will now try and find you on your new platform. And what awful luck after what happened with Unbound. Troubles and then more troubles.
