Should be one action: follow bridgy, get more visible posts for free!

Are you saying there's no way just to get a simple chronological display of posts with a particular hashtag?

Oh dear, I really don't understand bsky! I discovered the #BelieveInFilm tab I've got is actually someone's feed, lots not BIF! And if I search on BIF it appears in fairly random order, and I can't see my bridged SilentSunday BIF post! Back to Masto for me ;-)

I was really surprised how cheap that body is in UK fleabay, but the lens looks like it could be worth twice that. Much of the bad wear looks like on the filter. (Isn't the body basically a Minolta?)

I'm still following you there!

Film photography seems ok in Mastodon. There is not a large number of contributors, and some I know best are also on here. In a way it's nice because I can pretty much keep up, but I miss quite a few from the dead bird place. Wish I could get everyone bridging!

@paulasmith.co.uk So apologies, I've taken a screenshot of part of your post, and have used it without your permission (but clearly credited to you, I hope) on Mastodon and Talk Photography, to see if I can stimulate some rogue #Fp4Party action in those places. I'll take down if you're unhappy...

Bridgy Fed Bridgy Fed is a bridge between decentralized social networks like the fediverse, Bluesky, and web sites and blogs.

@ilfordphoto.com Hi, I notice you're apparently not on Mastodon! Although I'd like to see Ilford Photo there, you can get some reach by bridging from Bsky, see fed.brid.gy . I'd really like to encourage you to do that, it's painless! #FilmPhotography #BelieveInFilm

I could also use this as an opportunity to promote bridging from the other side! I think that's 4/4

... to folk in the Fediverse who've also opted in. You could also see my posts from over there. See fed.brid.gy but basically you just follow

and job done! @paulasmith.co.uk

Hi Paula, I only found out today (21st) about FP4Party. I used to enjoy taking part in the dead bird days. However, I'm really only active on Mastodon, and it has been invisible over there. I foud out via a bridged bsky user (Chad). If you were to opt in to bridging, your posts would be visible 1/n

What are the criteria for a shitty camera?

You're antimony over there? If so, I already follow!

Followed, thanks!

To #BelieveInFilm Users With Dormant Mastodon Accounts, please give Mastodon another try. It's changed. Solid tech, 500 character posts, Edits & Quote-Posts. With your help we can build a powerful truly decentralized public social media counterweight to centralized corporate media.

I was going to edit my first reply to add a hash for #Deco. AFAICS you can't edit posts with bsky!!!

Happened again yesterday with Patreon, which is currently the only way to read The Online Photographer's posts. I think I'm going to turn that filter off!

Ah, missed this reply. I foundout from another member whose email address I have, that TP was in fact up and available. After a frustrating day, I eventually worked out that the Malicious Content filter on my Deco WiFi boxes had decided that TP was a malicious site and was silently blocking it!

Does anyone know why #TalkPhotography (UK photo forum) is down?

Thanks John. I'm showing some less successful images from a recent roll on Masto. It was windier & glitches were a lot less subtle, which it turns out I don't like much. Also having trouble getting believable colours in landscape areas. I don't mind them being off, but I don't want mud! But fun...

Ye Gods, I just clicked on the age verification page because of the UK's stupid OSA. Took me to KWS where'd have to give up my face or my credit card. No thanks.

I could show them the first photo (of me) taken (by a friend) with my Werra 1 in 1967 if that would help?

BTW are you bridged across to Mastodon? You'd have to follow bridgy fed (bsky.app/profile/ap.b...), once you've done that, you can follow Mastonauts who are also bridged (as I am). I think it's great, but the slightly clunky double-opt-in setup means too few people are federated!

@temlightimages.bsky.social Hi John, this is your completely anonymous postcard from afar donor this month, tracking you down to try and work out what sort of image I should send you. Slightly nerve-racking having now discovered you're a Real Photographer! Can do straight or quirky...

Poly Film Labs Suffolk Photo and Cine Film Lab

As well as the roll of #Adox HR-50 I used in my #PentaxMX, I also used a roll of #AdoxScala in the LX. That's gone off yesterday to the only UK lab I could find that would do BW reversal processing, www.polyfilmlabs.co.uk . I think they're small & have a longish turnround, but OK. #BelieveInFilm

Surprises: dev poured out was almost coffee-coloured! Plus the negs look weird when first seen on the spiral due to the clear base. Happy that my "new" Rondinax 35U tank's guillotine managed to cut the polyester base, so I didn't need to mess in a dark bag with scissors!

Portrait format black and white phone photo of two film strips hanging in a shower cabinet. FP4 on the right, Adox HR-50 on the left. There is reasonable density in many of the HR-50 negs though some look a bit thin.

I devved #Adox HR-50 in HC-110 dilution E for 6:30 nominal in the end. Reckoned I had another roll so could try longer on that. Negs look a mix of thin and dense; reckon the thin ones were taken in a darker place in the Castle. Copied to @alexluyckxphoto.bsky.social

Black and white reversal film I accidentally on purpose picked up a roll of Adox Scala 50 in Edinburgh last visit, along with 2 rolls of ADOX HR-50, allegedly the same film in different packaging. However, I was quite upset to find that none of the labs that I knew of would do it. @Kevin Allan of this parish had a roll done...

I'm more confident with the 9 minutes for dilution H now. Kevin Allan on Talk Photography who has devved several rolls of HR-50/Scala confirmed it with good quality negs: www.talkphotography.co.uk/threads/blac...

Almost nobody talks about the negs! TBF neither do I, as long as they're not weird...

Adox HR50 in Kodak HC-110 1+47 Agitate the first 30s, than every other 30s.

Found this Filmdev recipe for HR-50 in HC-110 1+47 filmdev.org/recipe/show/... at 8:30! I don't think I'm going that far!!!
