The more I play immersive, open-world #videogames, the more I think #Scarfolk is well suited to that format. The entire town/environs to explore, an overarching satirical narrative, darkly odd side missions to complete. The basic narrative, tone, artworks, & even the maps already exist. #PS5 #Xbox

On God of War Ragnarök, we got to touch a lot of different places in the world, designing biomes and architecture. I was one of the concept artists on our side as well as the art director. We worked very closely with Sony Santa Monica, essentially being an extension of their internal team.

A little experiment done a while back in an effort to practice zbrush.

(not because I got fed up with the ship model and decided to have it sunk via serpent 💀)

Digging a bit into the archive before sharing some new things. Also I'm looking for new freelance and fulltime jobs at the moment. So if you like what you see and need someone to help out on your project or know someone else who does, please reach out!

His patience and craftsmanship in building those ships will always have a huge impact on me, and has inspired me to start my own projects based on the age of sail.

It’s been a while since his passing, and each of the ships has been passed down to various family members. Luckily, we still have one!

When I was a kid, the highlight of visiting my grandpa's place was watching him build wooden model ships. He had at least ten of them scattered around the house, each from a different era—ranging from the golden age of sail to modern fishing boats.
