More rare friends came by yesterday: siblings T167A & B were traveling w/T90s down Puget Sound. So far as we can find, this was just 167s 2nd time documented inland Puget Sound (1st was 2017). Lots of gray whales too, not all happy...

Guy in the coffeehouse complimented my knitting and it turns out he knows how to knit (!) because a bunch of elder gay men in a Seattle coffeehouse adopted him and taught him how and that just sounds like the most impossibly charmed life.
Update: I got 4 comms in total and I couldn't be any more excited. Thank you so much to everyone who shared my posts, it means a lot 🌼🌱 We got this, friends! Thank you for supporting real art.

mRNA vaccines continue to show major promise.
In a small Phase 1 trial led by Dr. Balachandran, some patients with pancreatic cancer (one of the deadliest cancers) reached 6-year survival.
This is why sustained investment in science & research matters.

Orca whales know what humans are. They're top tier predators. They can chase seals at 35 mph. They watch us drive by in our boats, perform for us when we whale watch, they respect our frailty when we canoe or paddleboard. They even observe us standing around campfires on the beach late at night.

My words are truly genuine, I had no expectations. Since I can't lower my prices and we're all struggling, I knew it was very difficult to get new comms. So this made my whole day!
