It's weird that I can log into Blacksky on Edge, but not on Waterfox. 🤔

Back in the day? Baseball, softball, hockey, football, and track.
If I asked for poutine and THIS came out? A motherfucker’s getting kicked in the grill.
I feel like I could, yeah.
A shiny purple cockroach is sitting on a green leaf. The caption at the top reads: "🎶Purple roach, puUuUrple roach!🎶" (The colour contrast and the shape of its head makes it look a little bit like if a penis were an insect with wings and legs.)
A calm pond (or is it big enough to be called a lake?) stretches out under a bright blue sky. The trees on the opposite shore are reflected in the flat water. On the left, a small wooden dock juts into the water, with a few fallen leaves scattered across it. The shoreline in the foreground is covered with green and yellow grasses, along with taller plants with green and yellowish leaves framing the right side of the photo.
It’s easy to burn out. I used to do 30+ requests per day, then dropped off completely for awhile.
No worries 👍🏾
The closest thing here to community alt text is the alt4me tag/keyword. It populates a feed that’s monitored by volunteers who can then assist.

Mashed potatoes with gravy. Also corn, peas, stuffing…sometimes sweet potato pie, green bean casserole (🤮). There has to be everything.
That was nearly fifty years ago. 💀
I read A LOT back then, but my memory suggests that the book might have been Black Beauty.
I think this is the correct answer. Moving to an independent PDS gives you control over your data. In the absence of any independent relay/appview infrastructure, BlueSky retains control of how that data is displayed, so the takedown makes him invisible no matter where his data lives.
Fuckin’ ridiculous. That’s far beyond “not a good look” territory.
Facebook doesn’t count though. 🫥
What? NO.
If I lived alone, I probably wouldn’t. Pictures of me with my family: different thing.
Today it’s this one by Michael Jackson’s daughter Paris.
It’s ok. There will always be other chances to shine. 😂

Megzie is lying in a hospital bed, smiling at the camera, ready to go into surgery. She’s pictured from chest up in a lilac hospital gown, and she’s got a Shadow the Hedgehog stuffie with her, who’s clearly there to make sure that everything goes exactly as planned.
Also high on the list!
Tenor supplies the alt text for the gifs. I’d guess that the barrier is cost, plain and simple. It’s not a revenue-generating platform at this point.
Composite image of Hugo Weaving in a very simple black suit, dark tie, white shirt, and sunglasses--he's portraying Agent Smith in the Matrix Reloaded movie. On the top half, he's got a smirky-sneery look on his face as he says "Me, me, me." That guy is labelled as eustace.justshootme.ca. On the bottom half, he's saying "Me too" with his habitual deadpan delivery. There, he's labelled as eustace.blacksky.app.
Me too.
Funny thing is, I probably would, though. 😂
That I would have to look at. My suspicion is that spoiler tags would probably be ignored, but I'll verify that when I get a chance.
Nope. The "Kirby doing a dance sequence" gets completely ignored, and the forward and backward slashes in "yay" get ignored, so all you get to hear is the letter "o." At least that's what happens with Apple VoiceOver. Other screen readers may be smarter. Or dumber. 😂
There's always the option to put the keyword alt4me someplace in your post or in the alt text field of your posted media. It functions as a call for volunteers to repost that media with alt text added to it.

Well, when a screen reader comes across an emoji, it reads its unicode name aloud, so when you see this: 🙂 a screen reader will instead say "slightly smiling face." Using MANY emojis can make for a frustrating experience for those who rely on screen readers.
I don't know favourite, but In the Mouth of Madness is the most frightening movie I've ever seen.
I owned the Blank Generation record when it came out but it's been a million years since I saw it or listened to it.
