These 10 prisons were the most overcrowded in England and Wales at the end of February.
Durham prison, at the top of the list, had room for 561 men. But it was being asked to hold 979.

Here is a newspaper article about the case (in Spanish). It's shameful but the UK government and authorities don't thake this seriously. I went to the police with the workers and they said "there was no criminality involved" and refuse to register the case. www.elmostrador.cl/noticias/pai...
Last year I had in my flat 2 Chileans who managed to escaped from a farm in England (same one mentioned in the article). They were brought here under flase pretenses using the seasonal workers visa. Fortunately, the Chilean government took this seriously (after some back and forth) and helped them.
I love to read but I realised that I was reading less and less because I was stuck trying to read "paper" books... now I constantly have a book, an ebook and an audiobook... so I can enjoy them at any time and place.
