Hey #langsky!
If you had to estimate, how do you split your language learning time (total = 100%) across these aspects?

Do you also use mnemonics interchangeably in multiple languages you speak, or do you stick to your strongest language?

The British must have gotten some strange โgiftsโ back in the day.
โฆand Iโm finally taking French ๐ซ๐ท seriously to get myself to a B level.
Iโm starting with Albanian. ๐ฆ๐ฑ Very limited resources.
Makes perfect sense! ๐
Iโm a big fan of their work myself!
๐ Language learners! For those fluent in 2-3+ languages: How do you approach learning the next one?
๐ Start from scratch (books, courses)?
๐ง Full immersion (listening, reading)?
๐บ๏ธ A mix of both?

Thanks for the shared info!
By the way, Clozemaster recently launched a new program (currently only web-based) that supplements the learning from its main app. Itโs called Common Ear and focuses on native audio exercises.
Still in the early phase, though I find it promising.

Interesting! Never heard of someone preferring Mango over the likes of Rocket, Cloze or Memriseโฆwhatโs so particularly good about Mango in comparison to the others?
When learning several languages simultaneously, I always choose at least one, that belongs to a language family that is completely new to me and one (or more) from families where I already speak at least one.
You always have very nice suggestions, Iโll definitely check it out! ๐ ๐
How accurate are the respective levels? Is a B2 text really for B2 students? Iโve seen such sites in German, but they had way easier texts than the level would normally require.
๐๐๐ Share your thoughts afterwards. Enjoy it!
Any thoughts on the new app from Clozemaster called Common Ear?
It sounds very promising!

Iโll check it out, thanks!
The European version, since I will need it for communication with Portuguese officials.
Itโs not a must, but I want to surprise them with a gesture of good will and whatโs better than suddenly talking in their own language. ๐
Thanks a lot! Iโll check it out.
Useful tips, as always! Hvala brate. ๐
Indeed I do. When it comes to reading Portuguese I can understand more than 50%, mostly out of context and thanks to my Spanish, but learning how to actively use the language is a whole new level.
Thanks for sharing your experience and ideas! Indeed everyone has their own unique learning style, so hearing how others learn might sometimes be very helpful. ๐
Great! Thanks for the link, thatโs exactly what I was looking for.
Those are some very useful tips!

Hey #langsky! Iโm planning to learn Portuguese and aim for B2 in 1 year. Any tips on how to structure my learning? How can I best leverage my B2/C1 Spanish to speed up progress? Also, whatโs the go-to Portuguese proficiency test (like DELE/DELF)? Obrigado! ๐๐๐ต๐น๐ง๐ท
Exactly! ๐
Interesting.
Curiously enough, the Chontal word for cat - โMishโ, means mouse in most Slavic languages. ๐ ๐ญ
Japanese, Arabic and Korean mostly.
Bunpo seems interesting.
Wow ๐ฎ
I think Iโm on the same pathโฆI might check some of these out though. If you have any specific recommendations, let me know.
