I think it'll be a long time before an Indian game can just be Indian and successful without being a Game for Impact or a Wholesome Game, much less being something I personally vibe with... But I can hope
There was a time when I couldn't have imagined Venba or Dosa Divas on the same storefront as Skyrim and Witcher. It's pretty amazing to see it now, and it makes me feel almost greedy for wanting Indians fighting dragons in space ๐
Been a lotta cool Indian games coming out and I've been buying them on principle, despite them not really being my type of game. Feels like all I can do to move the needle... But also feels kinda weird eh
this video has a proper look at some solutions. I suspect there's some other options that have become relevant since it came out, but it's a good starting point
I'm using a postprocess material, but to be clear I'm not talking about a real fix ๐ I just happen to be using radial blur like in the image and it makes the artefacting all fuzzy. For a generic fix you could try setting your translucent material to output velocity but that comes with its own issues
Weirdly tickled by how much postprocess blur solves TAA/TSR artefacting in VFX. All the noisy pixel slurry on my panning textures gets nicely smoothed out. Good image vandalism to counter the bad ๐ฉ
