Yes, Swiss scientist Fritz Zwicky coined the term “dark matter” which is impressive, but he also coined the term “spherical bastard” to describe people who are bastards no matter which way you look at them, and I think that should be celebrated more.
My favorite classic D&D (and Gamma World) artist!
This is what happens when you don't cognitively surrender.
I really like that term, "cognitive surrender", since it describes that part of your brain is not only going dark, it's given up.
dhuartson: Don't let anyone talk you out of spending $15 on a new hobby. That $50 will be the best $400 you ever spent.
This is not wrong.
.@belloflostsouls.net: "Get your Eldritch Horror Merit Badge in ‘Campfire Tales: Scouts Against Cthulhu’— I’m all for it. You get to recreate the feeling of a misspent youth, of long summer nights and getting into danger that seems to loom alongside the dangers and all-too-scary world of adulthood."
It looks just like your home office!

Q: Why weren’t faculty consulted?
A: On the contrary, Skynet was trained on an extensive archive of pirated humanities articles—hence its misanthropy, overuse of the em dash, and proclivity for always already predictively adding “already” after “always.”
Just two days left on the auctions, but there are dozens of maps available to just buy right now!
Hey, if you are interested in published adventures and the OSR, here is a large back catalog of fantastic reviews and insight for you to enjoy. Fear of a Black Dragon was always an instant listen when new episodes dropped. Jason and Tom are great together and this format works well. #ttrpg
Sad to see one of my favorite podcasts go. I've learned so much about writing (and running) adventures from you and Tom.
It's got effects now!!!
This may be the perfect time to make a dual stick action adventure game and release a demo on Steam...

A sheet of Battlestar Galactica Colorforms.
A set of Battlestar Galactica Colorforms.
An open box of Battlestar Galactica Colorforms.
Yep, these stayed down once rubbed down! I think you are describing Colorforms, which also has a huge number of sets, but usually had less realistic color.
Fox Business Headline: Trump admin to begin refunding $166B to businesses in wake of Supreme Court decision Companies can begin filing claims through a new federal system
New York Times headline: Trump admin to begin refunding $166B in tariffs.
So, all the businesses that passed on tariff costs to American consumers, now getting government refunds for those same costs? Refunds should go directly to consumers who actually ended up paying those tariffs. Instead, companies are getting to double-dip. Consumer prices will not suddenly go down.
Wow! As the kid of a pencil-wielding architectural designer in the 1970s-80s, Letraset letters were part of my life, so when I got some of these Star Wars sets, they made total sense! I even had access to a burnishing tool!
I have an unopened D&D set someplace.
So much great stuff, but all the things on my personal wish list are all sold out 😟

Glad it went so well, Orcus!
Unhappy to report the phishing one is quickly becoming a real problem now. Why go to the trouble of social engineering when people will just give up their ID, financial info, biometrics, etc. to an AV portal? There's no standards so how can you differentiate a fake one from a real one?
