I just learnt that apparantley, Doubloons for comms were removed.

The return of the festival of fishing was nice. More HC players on the seas to both play as or reap from.

Merrick's recipe should be permanent (it's okay if you nerf it a little)

I feel like the repeat festival part could be a week though, with BR stuff on the weekend as a "finale"

Secret Shipment Crate Voyages was an interesting twist, though I wish the cosmetic was something more desirable (e.g.: Pre-Season cosmetics, Event-log-in cosmetics or something like a rare giveaway or Twitch Drop).

Doubloon Crates felt rewarding, but the voyage was as boring as ever.

Found 2 friendly swabbies from Norway and taught them about Flameheart. Burnt Grubs on their stove without their knowledge, then let them burn ours (no real damage was done)

Captured a Burning Blade on the next day and sank two unfriendly Galleons with a crate that challenged us for no good reason.

So there's still no need to spent the rest of your SoT days grinding Reaper Chests, like some people advertise.

Also, if you are a new player but *still* want to 100% the shop:

* You are currently just six seasons behind (rest is available for Gold). Just keep playing and you will complete Larinna's shop eventually
* Commendations still give DB that veterans "lost" in the reset. You can catch up w this

About Doubloon shops in #SeaOfThieves:

* Every item will stay in the shops for a whole year
* Items rotate out... but they will return
* Items only get added per season. Don't fret if you aren't done already, you get another chance in June
* While you can, you are not MEANT to buy everything

They are (with the watch time needed to unlock) 75,000 gold (30 minutes), one level of Renown (one hour), a Voyage of Luck (one and a half hours), the See No Evil Emote (two hours), the Eastern Winds Jade Pirate Title (three hours), the Gilded Phoenix Drum (four hours), the Amethyst Mercenary Eyepatch (five hours) and the Sea Serpent Blunderbuss (six hours).

Twitch Drops are live once more! Acquire Renown, gold, Voyages and cosmetics between now and April 22nd (10am UTC), just for watching a participating Sea of Thieves Partner or Affiliate Alliance stream! Earn everything on the image below over the course of six hours.

The tools were already in the game, just hard to find for new players.

Our first ever Bilge Rats Weekender is live! Until April 20th (10am UTC), set out to tackle quirky Challenges, scrap over smuggling routes or reel in some fish, all in the pursuit of Doubloons to spend on various wares! Or just enjoy the fireworks, up to you.

With tomorrow's update, your Doubloons (excluding any earned through Season 19 Renown) will be automatically converted to gold at a rate of 1 Doubloon to 500 gold. This will follow automatic purchase of any commemorative Doubloon Hoarder cosmetics covered by your Doubloon total.

This exchange rate was chosen as a match for the most generous one that players have historically been able to access (by purchasing Bilge Rat's Hoards with the maximum Community Weekend multiplier active). This way, all players receive the best value for their Doubloons!

...or it might just be a T-shirt or a coin, idk
