No clue! I have barely glanced at the photo discussions, since it’s the document-gathering stuff that is relevant to me. But I’ve noted a lot of discussion on the Canadian Citizenship by Descent Facebook group about what others have done.

There is certainly a lot of online discussion about getting the right photos!

A small Irish town searches for truth as it digs for a long-suspected mass grave After years of demanding answers, an exhumation is under way in Tuam, where a Catholic institution is accused of burying the bodies of nearly 800 babies

That would drive me nuts

Fair. I've only tried a few times when it was personal. Generally an ineffective exercise in frustration.

Good luck getting that fixed! Dozens of Ancestry trees have my dad as deceased (he isn't), because they found the death of a totally different man with a similar name, who lived in a different country. One day I spent a long time messaging everyone. A couple people did fix it.

The genealogist has supposedly proved that both candidates for Tom's grandfather were not Indigenous. But did they prove who Tom's grandfather actually was, using DNA, in case it was a 3rd man? If not, a huge gap is missing in the evidence. 2/2 #genealogy #geneticgenealogy

Still stuck on the Tom King having no Indigenous ancestry. According to the Globe, he "didn't think DNA tests were accurate when it came to Indigenous genealogical markers". With Tom's father's paternity is in question, DNA is the only thing that is going to sort that out. ½ #DNA #genealogy
