I think this recipe is in Max Miller's Tasting History cookbook too. Really good stuff in there. Made the barley and beans puls that gladiators ate once; tasty, but the worst gas I've ever had in my life!

Same as why I don't want set rules for Heroquesting. Time to do some pure role-playing, as the name of the game genre suggests. I don't want a series of rolls or plus/minuses. I want smart ideas and clever banter and good interactions. Yes, it would require everyone in group to be on board 100%.

Well, this thread, and the whole RQ:G discussion has made me come to terms with the fact that I'm a full-on "hand wavey" guy in my RPGs.
