Of course! I first met him when he was wearing the dog in his hat...

"Pink snow" in West Square this afternoon.
I am so lucky to have this on my doorstep...
Listening to the Bishop of our link diocese of Masvingo, Zimbabwe, sharing the struggles of life there thanks to politics and climate change: so very pressing, it is almost unimaginable.
No resources to speak of and infinite need.
Lord have mercy & show us how to help
An arch of blossom in our own West Square yesterday. After the strong winds I'm expecting less on the trees, more "pink snow" on the path,- but it has been lovely while it lasted.
She adores it when extra offspring are home
FINALLY achieved our Christmas family theatre trip...Into the Woods at the delightful Bridge Theatre. Such a pleasure to see it with 2/3 offspring after watch parties during the pandemic, when watching things together apart was really important but hugs were sadly lacking
If you like bluebells, ancient woodland and celestial apple cake, get there to #HighgateWoods without delay. Warmly recommended for a splendid #RealFriday
#WalkingWithWillow
Red sky at night...
The @aldwychtheatre stage last night, just before the excellent cast of Shadowlands appeared for a splendid performance: heartbreaking but joyful too.
You dont _have_ to love C S.Lewis to enjoy it, but if you do, you really should go before the run ends.
Bravo Hugh Bonneville et al & thank you
Oh, I'm sorry you're laid low. Prayers ascending
A very elegant gent I felt.
Pink blossom
#WalkingWithWillow, we met a very fine heron amid the blossom in Battersea Park. Enjoyed our first ice-cream of the year too. A sunny Bank Holiday is a tad unnerving...but pleasing once the shock has subsided!
Alleluia! Christ is risen!
It means, though, we are sometimes unreasonably affronted that death shows it's face at all .
But yes weeping with and for those parents
Oh the poor poor darlings. So sad
Memorial to Edward Thomas Musson, aged 3, died 1st May 1914 and Maud Mary Ann Musson, aged almost 2, who died a week later
Those poor parents. Two children lost in one week. And then the Great War
I wonder what happened to them...No memorial nearby
Mile End Cemetery Park has bluebells, birdsong and all anyone could need to help reflections in life, death and eternity this Holy Saturday. It is very very lovely
#Triduum
Very tired Precentor but Bach St John Passion CD is hitting the spot beautifully.Clearly I'm not _quite_ as emotionally wrung out as I had imagined, since this is managing to add yet more feelings to the mix.
Behold the wood of the cross...

Ahhh yes. Think my marvellous Liturgical Assistant Tom would absolutely identify with that
Nobody has offered me one for so long I'm not really certain. An empty in box, of course, is an entirely mythical construct...
Hate and division won't disappear on their own—we have to out-organise those spreading them. ⚡️
That's why I've joined @togetheralliance.bsky.social to start building local power on our streets & in our workplaces - so that hope always wins over fear.
Get involved! actionnetwork.org/surveys/star...
My phone says 19.022 steps today. Some of the best steps I've taken
So much to rekindle hope in the conversations shared on the massive #TogetherMarch.
I'm exhausted but (& this will please @deanoakley.bsky.social ) filled with "Respair" & inspired to do more to challenge the narrative of division
So many great groups here
@scmbritain.bsky.socia,
Hillfield Friary, the wonderful #CoatofHope...
Such a privilege to be part of what is apparently the biggest anti far right march ever though we've yet to actually move!
I'm doing this for all of us....
Strictly so do I but this feels necessary
Lol. This is fab. Like @greenbeltfestival.bsky.social on steroids!
Gathering before the #Together march, at Oasis Waterloo.
Ready to show London that Christianity is based on inclusive LOVE ,not hate filled division.
8 know. Tons better than its cosseted drawing room cousins!
Courageous cyclamen self seeded between the paving slabs in my little mews development. So wonderfully unlikely really!
