Spent the week in Navajo State Park, CO wake surfing with some old friends for the first time in 2 years. Glad to find out I've still got it. Go quite the tan while I was up there too. 😅 Now I need to convince myself to get the running and climbing shoes back on.

Last week I busted a blood vessel in one of my fingers on the second throw. My finger was numb for a day and a half. Naturally, I had to exact my revenge.
This took 4 sessions, & approx 2.5 hours over the course of 2 weeks to nail. The last moves are a little ridiculous, & I was shocked to stick it. The route setters are calling it a V7, but I'm calling bullshit. I'm thinking a solid V8.

Thanks man! I could also be sandbagging it. 😅 I'm honestly terrible at comp style boulders, so I felt like it was probably not as difficult as it felt to me, were I more inclined to that style. Give me static moves and technique over flashy dynamic throws any day.
Comp style boulder (gonna guess V5) at the local watering hole. The last move was a bit sketchy, because it's blocked+you're blind+you've got a toe heel cam placed - it makes for some potentially injurious outcomes if you miss. So... don't miss. 😉

There is someone on here saying states should capture all federal payroll taxes/require businesses to pay federal taxes directly to them and then threaten not to pay the federal gov unless they comply to court orders and she is on to something.
Just got a tip from a guy at the FAA. You'll never believe who is still getting new government contracts while all the contracts at the Department of Education and USAID and other agencies are being nuked from orbit.
Tuesdays are for crop tops and sick sends.
I think this is a V5-V6 with some solid tension moves. Tonight felt good. Which is also a good sign, because I got violently ill immediately after that 10k race, and I wasn't sure how tonight would be.

RIGHT NOW: Pasadena High School has just joined the dozens of other schools all over LA that have staged walkouts throughout this week.
This is the 6th straight day of anti-ICE, immigrations rights protests in LA.
What's absolutely maddening about this moment is that media refuses to pay attention to Musk and Vance's neo-Nazi connections because they feel like it's unserious Twitter stuff... except, Musk and Vance take it so seriously they're putting these people in charge of the entire US government
Haven't flashed (first try, unseen) a black-tag (V8+) in a while. Although I'm not sure that I agree that it's a V8... Maybe a solid V6 though. This could be a rare instance where being shorter is beneficial too though. Climbing grades are subjective.
