Can anyone recommend some books / videos about camera work in 3d animation? (digest information through text better, but anything will do) ๐Ÿค”

Have been interested in this topic recently, but most of the resources I find are for real-life cinematography

Naturally started looking for a new studio for the first time in what, 3 years or so? The amount of AI and "embrace the progress" positions in there ๐Ÿคข Jesus fcking Christ

Yeah, like, we had an survey about AI recently in our studio too and the amount of people in Art department that are positive about it is saddening. I would think it's almost unanimously negative among art people, at least

Are there any game-dev studios left that don't use AI "art"? Feels like all of a sudden people got cool with it ๐Ÿซค

Stylized Electricity Breakdown โšก By using vertex colors, you can animate meshes like a "3D flipbook," giving you precise control over trail behavior. This technique is both flexible and saves performance, perfect for stylized effects.

I just looove the "progress" technology, which makes me get a worse product for an increased price

I do agree that the old one is too much, but I'd still leave just a tiny bit of gas leaking somewhere in his design, hinting that he has some hidden poison bombs. Not sure where exactly, need to experiment and see. Either way, cool stuff ๐Ÿ‘

Hi everyone!
Made a portfolio piece for a first time in a while :)
Got inspired by grass pokemon attacks (especially the GOAT Sceptile heh) and put it in a different setting.
Was a super fun piece to work on! ๐Ÿ˜„
