The light outside shows that it is the everlasting light that consumes that of the shard. Ony wears a furrowed smile, knowing that his 'injury' pains Sila but having no control over the outcome now. The light glows through his chest, eating away at his skin. Sila tentatively touches the growing burn wound, her face holds worry and pain. Ony holds her other hand in his by her lap.
