Living in a nursing home shouldn’t mean giving up everyday freedoms.
I just signed a bill allowing seniors living in nursing homes to consume alcohol - so that everyone can enjoy happy hour!

Also, is you setting internal policies on a criminal fucking conspiracy?!
Nothing like a training environment with 100 people sleeping in one room or a few thousand people on a ship to let a virus run wild
This was never about the worst of the worst.
We have continually demanded answers about how many of our children were taken into federal detention. Trump’s DHS has continually refused to give us information.

So nice that Auburn isn’t featured this year
Recently started biking for real, and holy f-ck - the cars. I swear to absolute fucking God. The cars man. I've never in my 30+ year life seen so many stupid fucking idiots in traffic. Blind motherfuckers. They are making my blood boil. Today someone decided it was a great time to make a U-turn in the middle of the street. I kept distance but the car was jerking and was indecisive and just stopped forcing me to go right on the curb making me fall head over the handle bar and crash. Not a care in the world the driver just looked at me and drove off. Never in my life have I seen so many stupid people that can't drive. And I've had a drivers license for over 20 years soon.
A common thread among newer cyclists is realizing just how awful drivers are. There are things you simply don't notice — behavior that has been normalized — when you mostly drive. Biking, walking, or rolling through the world changes that.
"Your job is so fun," yes, but did you know I have to single handedly fight no fewer than sixth algorithms every day for the privilege of telling people to not set their beds on fire.
Donating $10 (plus fees) in honor of every Auburn loss endured (35) that finally resulted in forever ridding us of Bryan Harsin and that sex pest Hugh Freeze. @hollyanderson.bsky.social @edsbs.bsky.social

But now they have AI to add to it
I once did a property damage investigation where it took a combined 40 hours of time from supervisors and managers for something that costs less than $500 to fix. You have to figure in the value of time when thinking about stuff, or you will do some batshit crazy stuff.
At least in manufacturing, it was closer to 1-1.25 times the salary at one year of experience.
"how much does each interview cost us" is something fuckers should be building into every annual salary reviee
On reading, I can see how this is just targeted at the direct out-of-pocket cost. But the indirect cost to find the right person and then allocate the time from senior leaders to interview them, on board them and lost efficiency while they get up to speed really add up.

When I worked at a manufacturing site with high turnover, we calculated it cost us that much to identify, higher, and train a new welder. I think you’re probably significantly underestimating how much it would cost to replace you.
The hardest projects I designed in school were the ones that had few or no constraints. When you were given codes, zoning, scope, site needs, etc. it became much easier. It may seem counterintuitive, but having more options makes everything harder.
I think we’re going to see some of the players who were on the team last year, performing at other schools and wonder how Hugh did so poorly with such talent on the team.

Free at last, free at last - Hugh Freeze lost 10-3 to Kentucky and Auburn is free at last.
Trump will find it difficult reading the Bible for a sustained amount of time, because it’s not about him, and he will lose interest.

How does that not make everyone sick?

Remind myself in the airport. You only have a carryon bag. Make sure to leave your knife in the car. You always have a knife in your pocket.

With it that close, it will send up canes on your side of the fence soon. Unless you decide to mow them down.
