Drew Harley Quinn on a burst of inspiration. I absolutely love Margot Robbie’s Harley.

Expanded the field!
Some areas are still just placeholder floors, but the overall scale is finally visible.

As a small puzzle space, I’m building it with a focus on density and detail.

Drew a fan art of Claire & Chris Redfield during a short break from game dev. Hopefully Resident Evil CODE:Veronica gets a remake one day.

It's been 100 days since I started learning Unreal Engine!

It's finally starting to feel like a game. Solve puzzles by rewinding time and try to escape the mysterious back alley.

I'm developing a first-person puzzle escape game, Back Alley.

Implemented an early event scene! Syncing animation, sound, and UI was tough—but seeing it all come together is incredibly fun.

Still a long way to go, but I'll keep going!

English subtitles are now supported alongside Japanese! Always fun to see how a single line changes its tone across languages.

Refined the time-rewind effects. They express subtle unease when something feels off, and the release as supernatural power awakens. With light and distortion, I aimed to show reality unraveling. Visualizing abstract emotions is never easy.

Still a work in progress, but the time-rewind effects are finally taking shape. VFX is tough to get right, but it's so much fun!

The full game will support English subtitles — so don't worry!

I implemented the "Inspect" feature! Combined with time-rewind, it finally feels like a real game. These two mechanics will be the core of the puzzle-solving experience.

The icon is barely visible on the timeline, haha.
It should be a bit clearer in the actual game, but I'm still tweaking the visibility.

Still working on the UI. Added a tiny micro-interaction that probably no one will notice.
Don't see it? Perfect. 😏

Made a small locker-opening mechanic today. The UI is designed for immersion. Nothing fancy, but moments like this remind me why I love making games.

Implemented a time-rewind mechanic to restore a broken sign. Added sparks and lighting effects — my first post showing real gameplay!

Thank you for noticing the small details! I hope so too.
As you said, this city is built from countless little details. I'll keep doing my best!

Two months into learning Unreal Engine, I’m building a puzzle game set in a Japanese back alley.
What once was an empty space has now grown into a small city!
