I can’t remember where I read this, but it’s important:
Why is it that when people think about traveling to the past, they worry about doing something small that will drastically change the present, but no one in the present thinks that doing something small today can drastically change the future?
My list of children's publishers accepting unsolicited manuscripts has long been in need of an update. A few publishers have sadly gone but there are still plenty of markets out there. Good luck to everyone submitting at the moment! loutreleaven.com/2010/07/21/c... #writing #submitting #publishing

Thanks Julie! I thought I’d overcome it - turns out it had snuck back in 🙄😂 x

I feel seen 😬😂
being a bookworm is having at least 87 notebooks, crushing imposter syndrome and a long and tragic story about losing a draft
Just seen this on a colleague’s email signature and think it’s brilliant:
‘This is a 'calm inbox'. This means that I check email once in the morning, and once in the afternoon. Outside of those times, typically, you will not hear from me.’
