What is the point of NE

I don't have an X account anymore, the video is playing but won't give me any audio. All I can see is a small tree gently moving in the breeze.
Green-winged Orchids in flower on a South Norfolk housing estate.
I only heard/recorded the song. Haven't heard any recordings of its call.
I posted a recording of it yesterday on here, tails of like willow warbler at end of song.

120 onion seedlings planted out today. Sown in February and have been slowly growing in an unheated greenhouse. A mix of Bedfordshire Champion, Ailsa Craig and Red Baron #growyourown #allotmentlife
Pease Dean bird showing all the right characteristics for iberian chiff and almost wood warbler like.
Westleton Heath iberian chiff not showing the classic characteristics and looking more chiffchaff like.
Here are 2 pictures taken off Bluesky which show the Pease Dean iberian chiff and the one at Westleton Heath. Apart from the song being odd for the Suffolk bird, the plumage doesn’t look right either #suffolkbirding
Extremely poor. If I walked into a supermarket and started throwing boxes of eggs onto the floor I'd get done for criminal damage. This man can go into an unauthorised area and trample peregrine eggs and get away with it. Why the door was left unlocked in the 1st place is a mystery.
Also lacks the bright yellow supercillium in front of the eye, doesn't have clean white underparts and yellow breast.
On the plus side, the song phrases are short. On the negative side, the 'distinctive & diagnostic' audible 'wheeps' are absent. I was there for nearly an hour yesterday and the song was consistently the same @birdguides.bsky.social @rarebirder.bsky.social

Yeah, I'm not convinced which is why I made a recording. It certainly sounds a bit like willow at the end although that part of the song is very subtle.
Westleton Heath is great for woodlark and other heathland specialists.
On the way home took a detour down some country lanes and found a pair of little owls. Bird of the day as I've been struggling to see this species for years. Must be the first encounter for nearly 6 years.
Stunning day birding in Suffolk today. Started early on the heaths with sensory overload. Smell of coconut in the air from the gorse and multiple singing nightingale, dartford warbler, woodlark and the commoner species. Then to Minsmere for reedbed and wetland birds. Managed to bag 18 year ticks.
Looking for some advice please. I popped in to see the iberian chiffchaff at Westleton Heath today and took some audio. Not having that much experience with this species I'm not sure how much variation there is with the song. Listening to other recordings the song should end abruptly..
I stopped feeding bird in the breeding season after I watched a local pair of starlings feed and entire fat ball to their young in the nest. Got me thinking that nestling would probably struggle to digest bird food.
Did the person that crushed the eggs ever get prosecuted @raptorpersuk.bsky.social BBC News - Peregrine falcon eggs smashed in St Albans Cathedral live stream - BBC News

A gentle reminder to please be aware of ground nesting birds when walking our permissive paths and keep dogs on a short lead in the nesting season!
