I was at a garden centre yesterday, full of veg plants, and not for the first time I thought how much easier it would be to buy them 'ready made'. Then this morning I looked at my sowings, and now I know why I do it myself, never tire of the magic of it all.

Had company on the allotment today, disturbed him/her whilst clearing ground the strawberry plants. Always nice to see. Have managed to do 12 hours on the allotment this week, most beds ready for planting and sowing now thank goodness. Feeling pretty pleased with myself 😀

Well my selective hearing apparently is now sorted, ears clean.
So more importantly... 3rd greenhouse is now ready for the San Marzano and Costoluto Fiorentino tommys along with the Tangerine Dream peppers.
Put some little gem lettuce on the go along with some Broccoli.

A few hours up the plot getting the second early seed potatoes in. Earlier this week international Kidney and Charlotte in. Today Kestrel and Nicola. Desiree, Nadine and King Edward still to go. Some using comfrey, others with beautiful well rotted manure #allotmentlife
Toilet roll parsnips are up. Last of the parsnips harvested. Broadbeans and cabbages that I over-wintered in the greenhouse are in. Happy with the day's allotmenteering.
