Three free blackcurrant bushes planted in a new allotment bed

You can't see them very well in the pic. But a new bed with 3 blackcurrants gifted by a kind plotholder, a thick layer of Ikea cardboard and loads of chippings from local tree surgeons.

Was awake early, so nipped up to t'allotment to do a bit. Potted up the dahlias and sowed some radish. Also, the rocket I sowed last week has started to germinate. Nice!
