Originele foto van een aantal knoppen van appelbloesem. De achtergrond is donker, bijna zwart. De knoppen zijn door de zon verlicht.
Bewerkte foto. Het midden van de foto is met behulp van een masker lichter gemaakt. Daarna is er een vignetting filter toegepast waardoor de randen vervagen en witter worden en daarna is er een sunflare filter toegepast waardoor het lijkt of er fel zonlicht uit de rechter bovenhoek komt. Dit is dezelfde richting van waaruit het licht viel bij het fotograferen. Als laatste zijn de kleuren aangepast naar een "herfstachtig" pallet.
Dezelfde foto. 1e is het origineel en de 2e is flink nabewerkt met ON1 Photo Raw. Niet iedereen waardeert dat. Nabewerken zou het wegpoetsen van fouten zijn. Zelf vind ik het een leuk en logisch onderdeel van het creatieve proces.

My carved Lino block shows two apple blossoms the size of salad plates with two flat edges that meet at a corner and the other edges tracing the petals. Itโs sitting on a green cutting mat with half inch grid in white. The block is tinted from use. The petals are pinkish, the stamens pale green and the pollen rusty orange.
