On Saturday our drug checking service is taking place in Hackney.
Drug checking can help people understand risks and make more informed decisions.
No drug use is risk free, but accurate information can reduce harm.

Great to finally be able to share this. We now have drug checking in London, with Hackney & Camden launching in the last few weeks. Along with Bristol there are now three monthly UK city centre services where people can find out what’s in their drugs before they use them. This will
save lives.
My fabulous friend @heyjudey.bsky.social will be speaking at this event. Tickets are free so go along and show your support if you can.
On Saturday we are in Bristol providing a free drug checking service 🔬💊
📅25th October
🕖12-7pm
📍Bristol Drugs Project, 11 Brunswick Square, BS2 8PE
Surrender a substance of concern for testing & have an open, honest, anonymous chat with us about drugs.

2 deaths last weekend in London were from pills confirmed as #nitazenes & similar to pills tested by The Loop.
They looked like oxys BUT it is not known what they were bought as.
Take care whatever pills you take.
Carry #naloxone, check in on friends & test if you can.
Click & Deliver naloxone is now available from @turningpoint-uk.bsky.social Slough. They do great work through their naloxone community champions project and C&D naloxone is an additional way for people to get a kit.
In Slough? Order a free kit here 👉 www.turning-point.co.uk/services/dru...
The role of opioids, benzos and z-drugs in fatal overdoses. Accompanied by a picture of me back in my harm reduction modelling days 😜
Today we launch Click & Deliver naloxone for Rochdale & Oldham. They join @turningpoint-uk.bsky.social services in Somerset, Herefordshire, Leicestershire & Lincolnshire in offering a low threshold way to access naloxone. In those areas? Order a kit 👉

Great to see #HarmReduction messages front and centre in Hackney . These posters were a collaboration between @turningpoint-uk.bsky.social @changegrowlive.bsky.social @cranstoun.org @waythrough-uk.bsky.social and HIT. Different organisations but a shared message 💛
On the way to London to deliver a Train the Trainer session for a young person’s specific overdose response & naloxone training that we’ve developed. Look forward to sharing more details as we roll it out across all @turningpoint-uk.bsky.social substance use services & hopefully wider.
Luckily the post below this in my feed is from @harmreductionintl.bsky.social so I’m quickly reminded there are people out there far better than the owner of that car & whoever made those stickers.
@janmayor.bsky.social is here 😁 To paraphrase Bob Dylan, Jan has forgotten more about #HarmReduction than I’ll ever know! Give her a follow 😊
😂
😂😂
So did I but didn’t expect the wall behind me to be the same colour 😆
6 years ago today I made one of my worst wardrobe decisions ever, and we launched the Low Dead Space campaign. This was a collaboration with people currently using drugs to promote the benefits of LDS syringes. Still one of my proudest achievements. 👇 www.exchangesupplies.org/product/P121

Here’s a few of my favourite people for starters. Meet Mick everyone, he’s a peer naloxone legend & new to Bluesky @steelewez.bsky.social @furlongp.bsky.social @jonfindlay.bsky.social @chrisrintoul.bsky.social @heyjudey.bsky.social
Yay, great to see you’re here! Look forward to seeing updates on all the amazing stuff you do getting Naloxone out there 💛
November 18th, save the date!
I want to say a massive thank you to my lovely friend @steelewez.bsky.social at @scottishdrugsforum.bsky.social for sending me this bag of goodies. It’s not just the message on the shirt that reminds me we’re all in this together ♥️ #TogetherWeCan #StopTheDeaths
Congratulations to all the amazing people whose hard work & commitment to save lives made this happen. Although the pessimist in me can’t see an OPC opening in England any time soon, the optimist in me hopes this will be the first of many across the UK.
Where is your Naloxone? I’ll be kicking your arse next time I see you 😘
Finally built up the courage to watch this! I didn’t talk quite as much much rubbish as I remembered (apart from painting myself blue 🙄) Was a really lovely experience, thanks for inviting me to do it.
Nice to see @turningpoint-uk.bsky.social new Click & Deliver Naloxone service in Leicester covered by local media. www.leicestermercury.co.uk/news/leicest...
