In one panel she stands in front of a Nuka cola machine, staring in shock as blood runs down fresh cuts on her cheeks, staining her Vault suit and collecting on her leather jacket; the jacket is half off her right shoulder from the scuffle she was just in. In the 2nd panel, it shows the arm of the dead raider that attacked her, wearing bloody clawed glove, and her boots. Blood drips to the ground at her feet. The asks says: "how'd you get those cheek marks??" and "What happened to your face? How did those cheek marks come to be?" The text reads: "So, the story... Fear got the better of me when I got escaped the Vault. I sat by that old wooden door for hours before realizing the sun was going down, and I should look for a place to hide for the night. I could see buildings, though. Houses and shit, so I got my legs working again and wandered on down. The Red Rocket station seemed like a good place to check out; ain't looking like it would've been anybody's home, yeah? There was Nuka machine with a bottle in it, too, and I was fucking thirsty... That's when I realized I was being followed. A trio of Raiders jumped me there, and I managed to crack one over the head with my bat, but one had clawed gloves on. She tried to take out my eyes, but I jerked back in time, and she gouged my cheeks instead."

The text reads: "I remember yelling as those claws split my face, and I remember hearing a far off gunshot. And I ain't ever gonna forget the sight of someone's brains evacuating their skull from that proximity. Stockhom got her. Before I keeled over and passed out, I watched the third dude run off to the school, and heard people running towards me from Megaton, asking if I was alright. I later woke up in Doc Church's place, stitched up. Welcome to the Capital Wasteland, I guess?"
